Ranked online board games with ratings

DiceyTable has ranked games with a rating for each game you play. On the site your rating is called your Score. Everyone starts at 1500, and each ranked game's page shows a public leaderboard. Ranked play works in the Fully scripted versions of Chess and Reversi / Othello.

To play ranked, open Chess or Othello, make a room, pick the Scripted variant and switch on Ranked before you start. Ranked play is part of a Player or Game Master membership, for the host and every player; casual games stay free. Invite a friend with the room link, or play a bot, which also starts at 1500. Two-player games use Glicko-2, an Elo-style system that also tracks how sure it is of your Score.

When the game ends, the host's game script reports the result and every other player's browser checks it before it counts. Disputed results are recorded and can be reviewed.

What is DiceyTable?

DiceyTable is a free 3D virtual tabletop in your browser. You play on a shared table with real pieces, and games that enforce their own rules can keep a ranking ladder, so every game you finish against a friend or a bot can move your Score.

Rankings are not cheat-proof, since the host's browser runs the game; other players' checks make a false result detectable. Only Chess and Othello are ranked today, ranked play needs a Player or Game Master membership, and you find opponents by sharing a room link.

Open Chess or Othello, choose the Scripted variant and switch on Ranked in the lobby.
