Dicey Table

Meta Quest

Play board games on your Meta Quest

You can play board games on a Meta Quest without installing an app. DiceyTable runs in the Quest Browser that comes with your headset, so you open a website, join a table and play in VR. It is free, and you only need a free account.

Put on the headset, open the Quest Browser and go to diceytable.com. Sign in, pick a game such as Chess, Go or Othello, and tap Enter VR at the table. Pinch with hand tracking or use your controllers to move pieces, roll dice and hold your cards.

Invite friends with the table's link. They can join from another Quest or from a laptop, tablet or phone, and up to ten people share one table. Playing alone? Chess and Othello let you add a computer opponent to an empty seat.

What is DiceyTable?

DiceyTable is a free virtual tabletop that runs in any modern browser, including the Quest Browser. It has a catalogue of board and card games, real physics for dice and pieces, and a VR mode that seats you at the table with your own hands.

There is no voice chat, so use a separate call to talk. Some game panels drawn by scripts cannot be opened in VR yet, and passthrough AR on Quest 3 and 3S is in beta.
